welcome to my blog! hopefully, i will update this on a regular basis....i think i can actually just type in my blackberry and it appears on here, so that will definitely help.
so, my trip starts in Barcelona...arrive there the 7th. i'm planning on staying in a hotel for a night or two, then moving to more of an apartment/bed breakfast type. also, just got a ticket to FC Barcelona vs. Mallorca game on 5/11. so i'm all set for my first week: land, go to hotel, get international cellphone, make sure my blackberry works, find apartment, take a siesta, practicar mi espanol, y unwind.
my virtual assistant (ala The 4-hour Workweek) is working on a bunch of things to do for me while i'm there (language, cooking, dancing and art/painting classes, volunteering opportunities, etc). can't wait to see what my man in india comes up with...should cost me about $10 bucks...the dollar's not dead afterall.
this is going to be fun...

I suggest the siesta, then quickly to some type of volunteering opportunities! Regardless of what you choose, it all sounds great. Enjoy. AT
